What to expect when you worship with us.

First, you may expect to be treated as our honored and respected guest. Also, in keeping with our loyalty to Christ, you will see that our worship is patterned after that of the New Testament church. Every Sunday we partake of the Lord’s Supper in commemoration of the sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ (I Cor. 11:24-29; Acts 20:7). Spiritual growth through knowledge of God is achieved by preaching the message of Christ (Acts 2:42; 20:7). Edification and praise to God are sought in singing (Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16), while our petitions and thanksgivings are made known to God through prayer (Phil. 4:6). On Sunday, the Lord’s Day, we take up collection in order to support the work of Christ. This collection is based upon what each member purposes in his/her own heart to give and is not asked of anyone who is not a member (I Cor. 16:1-2; 2 Cor. 9:7).

It should be said that our worship is always governed by two God-given principles: “Let all thing be done for edification” (I Cor. 14:25) and “Let all things be done decently and in order” (I Cor. 14:40).
